Chocolate Covered Figs
16 oz. package dried figs
8 oz. package walnut or pecan halves
12 oz. package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Place a walnut piece in each fig. Over a double boiler, gently melt the chocolate chips. Remove chocolate from heat. Dip each fig into the chocolate mixture until 2/3 coated. Roll figs in chopped nuts coconut, chocolate gimmies or cocoa powder. Place figs on waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Chill in refrigerator until chocolate sets.
