Sweet Cinnamon Nuts

Sweet Cinnamon Nuts

Ingredients

1/2 cup cane sugar

1/4 cup water

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

2 cups walnut or pecan halves

Directions

1. Combine ingredients in a non-stick coated skillet. Heat mixture to 240 F degrees (firm-ball stage).

2. Fold in nuts until coated with sugar mixture. Bring mixture to boiling. Stir constantly. Sugar mixture will start to form strands when stirred and will crystallize around nuts.

3. Spread nuts on a cookie sheet. When cool, place in a covered container.
