
Brown Sugar Shortbread
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup natural shortening
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions
Mix thoroughly. The dough will be crumbly. Press into a 15 by 10 inch cookie sheet, so that the mixture is about 1/4 high and extends to the edges. Bake at 350 degrees about 20-30 minutes or until light brown. Cut immediately, but let cool before taking shortbread from pan. Vanilla may be added.
