Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine

  • 1 tbsp. baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda

  • 3/4 cup sour milk (3/4 cup milk plus 1 tsp. vinegar)

Directions

  • In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. With a fork, combine
    dry mixture and butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in milk.
  • Roll out dough and cut in circles and place on buttered baking
    sheet or drop using a small ice cream scoop into cups in a buttered
    muffin pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 425℉ for about 12-14 minutes or
    until golden brown.
  • Makes 12 small or 9 large biscuits.
