French Onion Soup

2 cups onions thinly sliced
4 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
4 cups beef broth
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
dash salt and pepper
grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- In saucepan over low heat, cook onions in butter, stirring
frequently until tender. Sprinkle flour over onions and
stir. Add broth and salt and pepper. - Bring mixture to a boil,
stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes. - Pour soup in bowls. Place toasted french bread slices on top of soup. Top with parmesan cheese.
