
Cinnamon Apple Preserves
Ingredients
2 apples peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup cane sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions
Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon and lemon juice in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 15-20 minutes or until apples are cooked, stirring occasionally. As apples cook, mash them with a potato masher. Pour into a sealed jar and chill in refrigerator. Makes about 1 1/2 cups preserves.
