Tasty Fried Rice although called “Fried Rice” is really a hearty meal in itself. Made with rice, green peppers, celery, green onions, eggs and ham or chicken this fried rice makes for a satisfying and delicious dinner or lunch. Tasty Fried Rice can be enjoyed as a full dinner or a side dish.

This Tasty Fried Rice is Not Only Tasty but Easy to Make

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs beaten

  • 3 tbsp. light olive or grapeseed oil

  • 1 cup diced green or red bell pepper

  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery

  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

  • 2 cloves minced garlic

  • 1 cup diced cooked ham or chicken

  • 3 cups cooked rice

  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce

  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Directions

  • In a large frying skillet or wok, scramble eggs and stir eggs until broken up. Set aside in a dish for a few minutes until added to fried rice mixture later.
  • Heat oil, add bell pepper, green onions, celery, garlic, ginger and ham or chicken. Stir well, sauté for a few minutes or until tender.
  • Add rice, stirring it very quickly so it will not stick to the pan. Add the soy sauce and ginger then mix well. Then add scrambled eggs. Mix well.
  • Serve immediately on a serving dish. Pour over additional soy sauce.
