Ingredients
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup Greek or regular plain yogurt
1/2 tbsp. light olive oil
Directions
- Mix together flour, baking powder and salt in a medium-size bowl.
- Add yogurt, oil and mix until combined and forms a dough. Dough should be firm and not too sticky. Knead dough a few times. Let dough rest covered in bowl for about 5 minutes.
- Pat with hands into a greased flat pizza pan or 12×11 inch non-stick cookie sheet or 12 inch pizza pan. If dough is too sticky sprinkle a little flour on top of the crust before patting into pan. Top with pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and toppings- for a firmer crust bake pizza crust for about 4-5 minutes before adding pizza sauce and toppings. Bake in preheated 400F degrees for 18-20 minutes or until crust is lightly brown. Makes enough dough for one 12 inch pizza.
