1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour (spoon and level method)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
3 1/2-4 tbsp. ice water
Directions

- Add ice water to mixture- adding one tablespoon at a time. Stir with a spatula until dough is combined- gently pressing dough to form into a dough ball.
- Roll dough with a rolling pin until thin and place in a metal or glass pie pan- make sure rolled pie crust is large enough to cover pie plate. Crimp pie crust edges to form a decorative crust. Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 12-15 minutes or until crust is light brown. Makes one 9 inch pie crust.
