1/2 cup cane sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 cups walnut or pecan halves

Directions
- Combine ingredients in a non-stick coated large skillet.
- Heat mixture to 240 F degrees (firm-ball stage). Fold in nuts until coated with sugar mixture.
- Bring mixture to boiling. Stirring constantly. Sugar mixture will start to form strands when stirred.
- Spread nuts on cooking sprayed cookie sheet. Cool. Place and store in a covered container.
