2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup sour milk (3/4 cup milk plus 1 tsp. vinegar)
Directions
- In a bowl, combine dry ingredients. With a fork, combine
dry mixture and butter until mixture is crumbly. Stir in milk. - Roll out dough and cut in circles and place on buttered baking
sheet or drop using a small ice cream scoop into cups in a buttered
muffin pan. - Bake in a preheated oven at 425℉ for about 12-14 minutes or
until golden brown. - Makes 12 small or 9 large biscuits.
