Caterer’s Cheese Ball is an appetizer made from a mixture of cream cheese, cheddar cheese, pimentos, onion and other flavorings. The mixture is rolled into a ball and coated with chopped walnuts. It is served with crackers, vegetables, or other snacks.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. package cream cheese softened

  • 8 oz. package grated extra sharp cheddar cheese

  • 4 oz. jar pimentos diced

  • 1 tbsp. grated onion

  • 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts

Directions

  • Mix in cream cheese, cheddar cheese and pimentos- save some of this for later.
  • Add onion, worcestershire sauce and salt. Add some walnuts-save some walnuts for outer ball surface.
  • Place mixture in refrigerator until it becomes firm.
  • Form mixture into a ball and roll in chopped nuts. Then add left over pimentos for decoration on the cheeseball’s surface . Refrigerate leftovers.
