This sauce is loaded with common and spicy flavors. The sauce combines tomato sauce, tomato puree, orange juice, green onion, Mexican oregano and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 15 oz. can tomato sauce

  • 1 cup tomato puree

  • 1 cup water

  • juice of 1/2 orange

  • 1 green onion chopped

  • 1 clove garlic chopped

  • 1 tbsp. crushed red pepper flakes or to taste

  • 1 tbsp. dried mexican oregano

  • 2 tsp. chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt

  • 1/2 tsp. cumin

  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder

Directions

  • Blend ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  • Chill leftovers. Serve with tortilla chips.
