1 1/2 cups fresh apples cored, peeled and sliced
1 1/2 cups fresh whole cranberries
1 cup water
1/8 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
1/8 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
1 cup cane sugar
Directions
- Place apples, water, cinnamon and nutmeg in a saucepan. Cover
- and simmer until apples and cranberries are tender. Mash apples
- and cranberries with a potato masher. Add sugar, stir and simmer
- 10 minutes more. Serve warm or cold.
