Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp. butter

  • 3 cups sifted powdered sugar

  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp. water or milk

  • 1 tsp. lemon zest minced

  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

  • In a bowl, blend ingredients with an electric mixer until smooth- gradually add powdered sugar to butter then add liquids and salt.
  • Makes enough frosting for 2-8 inch cake layers.
