Blueberry sauce is a sweet and tangy condiment made by cooking blueberries, sugar, and usually some lemon juice or other flavorings until the berries break down into a thick, syrupy sauce. It can be served warm or cold and used as a topping for desserts such as pancakes, waffles, ice cream, or cheesecake, or as a glaze for meats such as pork or chicken.
