Ingredients
1/3 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
2 cups milk
2 egg yolks slightly beaten
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. vanilla
whipped cream
white chocolate chips
Directions
- Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a 3 quart saucepan. Whisk milk and egg yolks in a mid-size bowl, gradually pour and whisk into sugar mixture in saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk constantly until mixture boils and thickens.
- Boil and whisk 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Cool. Refrigerate pudding for a few hours before serving.
- Pour into dessert cups and top with whipped cream and mini white chocolate chips or shavings.
