Sesame Snow Peas are a light and healthy side dish

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp. sesame oil

  • 4 tsp. soy sauce or soy sauce substitute

  • 2 cups snow peas

  • 1 clove minced garlic

  • 2 tsp. cane sugar

  • dash red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Over medium-high heat, heat oil in an 10 inch frying pan or wok. Add half of soy sauce and all of snow peas.
  • Sauté 3-4 minutes or until tender and slightly crisp. Remove from heat and mix in remaining soy sauce, garlic, sugar and red pepper flakes.
  • Serve immediately.
