Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tsp. apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt

  • 1/2 tsp. cajun seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder

  • 1/2 green pepper chopped

  • 1/2 onion chopped

  • 1 lb. ground beef cooked, browned

  • hamburger buns

  • dill pickle slices

  • American cheese or cheddar cheese slices

Directions

  • Combine ingredients, except ground beef, in a bowl. Pour into a slow-cooker. Cook until heated.
  • Add ground beef to sauce. Cover and cook on high for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. Add extra water if necessary.
  • Serve on hamburger buns and top with dill pickle and american cheese slices.
