Ingredients

  • 17.3 oz. package puff pastry dough defrosted

  • sliced almonds

  • ground cinnamon

  • granulated cane sugar

  • egg whites beaten until frothy (not stiff)

  • cooking oil

Directions

  • Roll puff pastry until 1/4 inch thickness. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with almonds, cinnamon and sugar.
  • Cut into 3 by 1/2 inch pieces. Place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350F degrees for 8-10 minutes depending on oven type or until light brown.
