Ingredients
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla (optional)
sliced bananas (about two or three bananas)
cooked 9 inch pie crust
Directions
- Combine first four ingredients in a sauce pan until smooth. Whisk in beaten egg yolks and milk.
- Bring to a boil, stirring constantly for about 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla.
- Pour filling in cooked or prepared 9 inch pie crust lined with sliced bananas. Refrigerate until filling is set. Top with whipped cream and sliced bananas.
