Banana Frosty, a Nostalgic Favorite similar to Wendy’s Frosty
Ingredients
3/4 cup cold milk
1 banana halved
4 regular scoops vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt slightly softened
Directions
- Blend milk and banana in a large blender until smooth.
- Gradually add ice cream or frozen yogurt and blend again. Top with whipped cream. Makes 3 1/2 cups.
Notes
- For an extra thick frosty use a frozen banana and 1 cup milk. This recipe is only recommended if a high-power blender is used and banana is in chunks. The frozen banana should be thawed out for a minimum of 5 minutes. Mixture, if too frozen, might have to be thawed for a few minutes before blending more.
