Cayenne Cheese Crackers are Full of Spicy Flavor

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup butter or margarine

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

  • dash black pepper

  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans

  • 2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese

Directions

  • Combine ingredients in a bowl. Form dough into rolls and wrap in plastic wrap.
  • Refrigerate dough rolls for a few hours. Remove plastic wrap. Slice rolls into wafers and place on cookie sheet.
  • Bake in preheated oven at 350F degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before placing on cooling rack
