Fresh Strawberries Equals Delicious Strawberry Pie
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
3 oz. box strawberry gelatin powder
1 quart fresh hulled strawberries
1 (9 inch) prepared/baked pie shell
whipped cream
Directions
- In a medium size saucepan over medium low heat, combine first four ingredients until clear and thickened. Add gelatin powder until combined.
- Cool mixture. Fold in strawberries into sauce/filling.
- Pour mixture into prepared/baked pie shell. refrigerate until set. Serve pie with whipped cream.
