1 cup sugar
juice of 2 lemons
1/4 tsp. lemon zest minced
Directions
- In a saucepan, bring to a boil water and sugar. Stir constantly until sugar is dissolved. Boil 5 minutes more, stirring when done.
- Add lemon juice and zest. Cool mixture. Freeze in a covered container in the freezer for 6-8 hours. Scoop out into individual dessert dishes.
- Makes about 3 cups.
Notes
- For a less sugar version use 3/4 cup sugar.
